About This Course

This unit aims to explore leadership in relation to three aspects: leading self, leading others & leading change. The unit also provides learners with an understanding of the “Manager’s Toolkit” essential to drive strategy to effectively achieve organisational objectives outlined in the strategic roadmap. The transferable skills learned in this module may benefit the learner during the course as well as in future leadership roles.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification
  • Should be at least 22 years of age
  • or

  • A minimum work experience of 5 years

  • Critically evaluate personal leadership practice.
  • Understand the application of different leadership styles & approaches for effective people, organisational & stakeholder management.
  • Understand the concept of Ethical Leadership; find solutions to ethical dilemmas faced by present-day leaders/organisations.
  • Be able to demonstrate effective negotiation techniques and productive ways to facilitate & lead team tasks.
