About This Course

This unit aims to advance learners’ understanding of concepts & principles of entrepreneurship. Key areas of study include conceptualisation, innovation, strategy & operations, financing, managing, and marketing sustainable ventures that generate wealth for individuals & communities.

Requirements

A bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification

Should be at least 22 years of age

or

A minimum work experience of 5 years

Learning Outcome

Understand disruption in relation to different types of entrepreneurship (i.e. start-up & corporate).

Understand managerial, operational, strategic, and structural requirements for a new venture launch.

Be able to identify barriers and drivers of innovation; understand how innovation can be applied within the organisation.

Be able to evaluate capital raising models & approaches.
